A New Song

Who I was is not who I am right now, and who I am is not who I will be. God consistently draws me in, teaches me, gives me wisdom, calls me to action, and is molding me for His good.

I know to the deepest core of my being that God has some un fathomable plans for how He will use me on earth to show Gods great glory. This is a season of rest, of actively renewing my mind, and of pouring out to women around me.

I’ve been told to follow and to go. To be an action taker and a truth seeker, but to also remind the people around me of their worth. To challenge others to ask hard questions, to bring up tough conversations, and to take action based on what they know from Christ.

In the action and serving others comes joy. Reciprocal delight in Christ as He looks upon the work that I, and the community that surrounds me is doing.

I’ve seen my gaze, my priorities, and my time shift outward over this past year. And my hope is to always give thanks.

To rest in the process.
To leave a legacy called the pathway of faithfulness. When God says go. I’ll go.

Here’s to a new year of joy and of singing new songs.
